León.- Starting next January 16, the new Family Medicine Unit (UMF) number 60 of Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in the city of León that will provide care to beneficiaries of more than 60 colonies that received care in the UMF number 47 The Trojes.

In this new clinic the IMSS made an investment of 117.4 million pesos in physical work and 18.9 million in equipment that will benefit 80 thousand beneficiaries.
Located on Netzahualcóyotl Street No. 224 in the Prado Hermoso neighborhood, the new Family Medicine Unit number 60 will provide family medicine consultation, specialized nursing in family medicine, stomatology, Social Work, X-rays, attention to the beneficiary, valid affiliation, economic benefits service, pharmacy, nutrition and ultrasound, among others.
The beginning of the functions of the new Family Medicine Unit number 60 which will allow the saturation of the clinic to be relieved. The Trojes (UMF No. 47) which currently provides care to 376 thousand beneficiaries and is the second one that provides the most care in the country.
The beneficiaries currently receiving care in the Family Medicine Unit number 47 will now be treated in the new clinic number 60 and the change will be automatically by system, this was announced Marco Antonio Hernandez Carrillodelegate of IMSS in Guanajuato.
“This change of clinic for the corresponding beneficiaries is exclusively to improve the service provided by the Institute, solely as an approach to offer better quality and opportunity in care,” he said.
And he added that the beneficiaries Those who are qualified for this new UMF number 60 do not need to carry out any procedure, the change will be automatic so that they receive care in the unit, they will only have to present themselves to request it with their National Health Card.
