Another study that supports these data is the TResearch International survey, in which the Nueva Ideas candidate, Michelle Sol, has 60.4% electoral preference, followed by Milagro Navas with 32.1%, while other candidates together do not even exceed the 5.3%.
In this same survey, Michelle Sol leads the list of candidates as the best evaluated in the municipality, achieving a 71% positive image among the electorate, leaving Navas below with 65%.

TResearch also asked the population which parties they have the most rejection in the municipality, to which they responded that the FMLN and ARENA with 34.6% and 33.4%, respectively.
These parties were displaced by the Salvadorans in the presidential and legislative elections on February 4, losing the support of the population like never before, in the case of the FMLN it did not obtain any deputies.
Based on the data, Nuevas Ideas would win with a wide margin the mayorship of La Libertad Este made up of Antiguo Cuscatlán, Huizúcar, Nuevo Cuscatlán, San José Villanueva and Zaragoza.
