Dublin: A new project is coming to build thousands of homes right next to Dublin. The huge housing project is being implemented in the industrial estate of Glasnevin, Dublin, just three kilometers from Dublin.
The proposed housing estate is bounded by Finglas Road to the east of Glasnevin Cemetery, Rathoth Road in Ashtown to the west, Cabra to the south and Tolka Valley Park, which separates Cabra and Finglas to the north.
The proposed project on 75 hectares of land is expected to be completed this year itself. The housing project is coming up on available land with all the transportation facilities including Las Rail. The feature of this project is that you can reach this area within 15 minutes. Therefore, this project is known as the 15-minute city.
Dublin City Council is convening this month a meeting of major landowners and stakeholders on the Ballybogan Glasnevin Industrial Estate to discuss further work on the project.
Many landowners to the west of Glasnevin Cemetery have already expressed their willingness to give up land. Developers are also excited to start construction here. It is expected that the housing project here will get a lot of attention with all kinds of transportation facilities including trains, buses and boats.
