This is a new third-person survival horror game from the creators of Dead Space.
The stage is 300 years in the future, on Jupiter’s moon Callisto. There is a “Black Iron Prison” where violent criminals are housed, but one day, the prisoners in the facility suddenly transform into creatures and fall into chaos. Imprisoned freighter pilot Jacob Lee must unravel the mysteries lurking in Callisto and escape from here in order to survive.
Through a unique design process called “horror engineering”, this work combines elements such as cruelty, atmosphere, tension, humanity, and despair to create a new horror.
The latest game footage released this time was captured with the latest hardware.
The main character, Jacob Lee, uses supernatural powers such as psychokinesis to fight the approaching creatures. Creatures are difficult to defeat in normal hand-to-hand combat and gunfights, but you can easily defeat them by using the gimmicks on the map.
From the middle of the video, an action that looks like a huge sewage facility is developed, and at the end, the cruel death of the main character who loses the lower half of the body is drawn. It can be seen that the game is full of violence and cruelty that inherits the spirituality of “Dead Space”.
The Callisto Protocol will be released on Friday, December 2nd.
