My Miller has been appointed Director of Communications and Marketing at The New Orleans Historical Collection.

Dr. Busenlener asked et Dr Amy Glicktwo long-time pediatricians join Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.

They will join Lakeside Pediatric Clinic, 4845 Veterans Blvd., in November.

Busenlener graduated from LSU Medical School and completed her internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She has been practicing pediatrics since 1997.

Glick graduated from the University of Illinois Medical School and completed her pediatric training at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She has been practicing since 2000.

Baton Rouge

Heather Cope was appointed Chief of Staff of the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children.

She received a bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in teaching, specializing in adolescent social studies, from Pace University.

Dr. Amber Robins joined the staff of General of Baton Rouge.

Robins, a family physician, will treat patients at the Family Health Center clinic, 3401 North Blvd., and through BRG Care on the Go, which will bring primary and emergency care services to Mid City and north Baton Rouge through a new mobile health unit. BRG Care on the Go will begin operations at the end of the month.

She received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she also completed a residency.

Dr. Mark Tyson Garonorthopedic hand surgeon, joined Ochsner Medical Complex — The Grove.

Dr. Garon specializes in the treatment of arthritis, cysts, tumors, ligament injuries, overuse problems, fractures, trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome.

He earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Garon completed a surgical residency at LSU Health Sciences Center and a fellowship in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis.
