New Guest Characters Teased in Mortal Kombat 1 Files: Ghostface and Michael Myers Rumored

Last week, Mortal Kombat 1 files hinted at the appearance of new guest characters in the game: Ghostface from the Scream film series and/or Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise. There has been no official news about the roster expansion yet, but MK creator Ed Boon continued to tease fans on social media. The developer has published a poster with iconic horror villains: three are marked with a check mark (they have already appeared in previous parts of the fighting game), and the rest are marked with a question mark. Already appeared: Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre; Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street; Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th. Questionable: Pinhead from Hellraiser; Chucky from Child’s Play; Billy from Saw; and, as if confirming fans’ guesses, Ghostface from “Scream” and Michael Myers from “Halloween.” Let us remind you that the first guest characters of Mortal Kombat 1 as part of Kombat Pack 1 were: Homelander from “The Boys”, Omni-Man from “Invincible”, Peacemaker from the series of the same name, as well as Quan Chi, Ermac and Takeda. The fighting game itself is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC and Nintendo Switch. The authors of the new product received high ratings from the media in a new video.
