Summer brings several new places to drink and eat in Haapsalu, and caterers who previously operated here are also making changes.

Weekdays before the Italian wine days, the wine bar Venezia opens its doors in Ehte street. Behind the enterprise is the Tilk family, who were given the idea of opening a wine bar for a TV show. “One man introduced the popular wine bars in Venice bacaro‘s, where wine is served alongside cicchetti‘s, i.e. one or more seafood, meat or vegetable snacks on a slice of bread. With it the Venetians drink a small glass of white wine, which they call shadow‘ks (for shade – Italian k),” said Elise Tilk. The family took what they saw to Venice, to try it all out for themselves.
