Final Fantasy XVI is the next main game in Square Enix’s ultra-popular fantasy series. Its development is being spearheaded by many of the developers on the Final Fantasy XIV team, which is no surprise given the success of the latest MMORPG in the series, which recently had over 27 million accounts worldwide.

The scheduled release date is June 22, 2023 for PS5. A PC version is also likely to arrive at some point, although there is no official release date for it at the moment. We also recently learned that a demo is planned and should arrive shortly before the game’s release.
