New features for this new edition of the Sites et sons festival in Millau

The first concert of the festival will take place on July 25 in Brunas.

The Sites et Sons festival is back on Thursday evening in Brunas. It’s a chance for the Millau Grands Causses tourist office to commemorate its 15th anniversary with some new elements. “The Festival is opening part of its lineup to emerging talents from Occitanie (and beyond!) as announced by the tourist office. The aim is to promote the emerging artistic scene, provide a platform for young musicians and singers to take their first steps towards their dreams. In the first part of each festival date, new projects, public song tests, first interactions with professional musicians, solo or in groups… 2 to 3 artists will have the opportunity to embark on the adventure, regardless of their musical genre, reflecting the diversity of the Sites & Sons Festival: hip-hop, Latino, pop, rap… Suitable for all ages and musical tastes.”

Three musical sets in Brunas

For this opening night, the event kicks off in Brunas at 7 p.m. with a showcase of circus arts. South Aveyronnais artist Vastos will perform at 7:30 p.m. presenting songs from his first EP 2:00. “Blending hip-hop and conscious rap, meaningful lyrics, and powerful sounds… a must-discover, support, and encourage urgently!” according to the tourist office. Les Fines Gueules will then take the stage at 8:15 p.m. “A group from Aveyron that combines new compositions with festive covers. With catchy and charming tunes, their lyrics and jovial spirit inspire a celebration of life through music…” Closing the evening will be Mama Said, part of the festival’s seven-date tour across seven different locations in the Millau Grands Causses area.
