New faces enrich the Board of Directors of IN.A.D.E

The composition of the Institute for the Development of Western Greece (IN.A.D.E) has been renewed with new distinguished persons making up the Board of Directors.

Specifically, following the recent regular Assembly of the Association, the Board of Directors unanimously re-elected the respected journalist Thanasis Papandropoulos as president, while the Economist – Business Consultant and Geologist, Fokion Zaimis, remained in the position of General Secretary.

The board of directors is made up of three new persons from various fields who have a distinguished professional career.

In more detail, the well-known architect-engineer Spyros Krotsis was appointed to the position of Vice President 1, while the renowned businessman Spyros Kapotas was elected Vice President 2. The new members also include the Professor of Biochemistry of the University of Patras, Konstantinos Poulas. Key members remain Panagiotis Karagiannis in the position of treasurer, Aristidis Vavalis, id. Employee, businessman Marios Prapopoulos and lawyer Dimitris Pelekis.

Special reference was made by the General Secretary of IN.A.D.E, Zaimis Fokionas to the plans of the Institute for the next term as well as to the actions implemented in the previous period, among them the successful completion of two programs (ANTIOX PLUS & INNOVA PROTECT) in which participated.

He also referred to the successful events that took place, highlighting the days entitled “Where Christianity meets Hellenism” with keynote speaker Spyridon Kamalakis, Grand Logotheist of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa and “Geopolitical Developments and the role of Local Government” in which the distinguished professor of geopolitics Ioannis Mazis participated.

INADE’s ultimate goal is to improve the standard of living of citizens, through the development of a healthy and sustainable economic activity in combination with the upgrading of the cultural and educational level.

The term of office of the Council is two years.
