New exercise bike offers a proposal for those who want to get rid of a sedentary lifestyle while working

The requirements of today’s society are increasingly high: you must be productive at work, but you must not be sedentary either. Perhaps with this in mind, LifeSpan has just announced its new exercise bike, the Ampera Power.

A nova bike – that does not need to be plugged in – does not have any arm support, reminiscent of a unicycle, and can be fitted to a height-adjustable workstation. The proposal is for the user to work while exercising.

Pedaling the model is capable of generating energy to charge your smartphone and even your computer. Charging can be done via a 15W wireless base, located in the middle of the pedals, or via a 65W USB-C port, located on the rear of the bike.

Through an app, the Ampera Power user can also monitor detailed data regarding their exercise, including energy production, calories burned, cadence and distance, and change the color of the pedal rim.

LifeSpan also highlights that in addition to not needing a connection to a socket, the bike is made from 100% recyclable material, aligning the product with the “eco-friendly” aspect, which aims to offer renewable or self-sufficient energy solutions.

For those interested, Ampera Power can now be purchased on the LifeSpan website for US$ 799 on a current promotion – something around R$3958 in direct conversion, not considering taxes or fees. The brand does not officially operate in Brazil.
