New evidence of Alberto Fernández’s aggression

In the last two days, a series of photos have emerged in which Fabiola Yáñez, ex-partner of former Argentine President Alberto Fernández, can be seenwith several blows to the body, a video in the Casa Rosada, as well as chats that provide evidence of the abuse.

The Argentine portal Infobae published the photos and chats, which, according to the media, after having access to them. The evidence is included in the investigation into the complaint filed this Tuesday against Fernández by the mother of his two-year-old son Francisco, for alleged physical violence and harassment.

They would have been taken in August 2021, in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, Yanez shows a bruise on the inside of his arm, and in another photo a black ring around his right eye, the media reported.

Fernández’s compromising chats

“It doesn’t work like that,” Yáñez said in one of the leaked dialogues. “You hit me all the time. It’s unusual.”

“You’ve been hitting me for three days in a row,” said Yáñez in the middle of the discussion, in which he expressed: “when you hurt me [sic]”You left me with bruises.”

Political reactions to photos and chats

The appearance of these photographs generated a strong reaction among politicians. President Javier Milei’s spokesman, Manuel Adorni, wrote a very brief text: “Gentlemen: never again. The end.”

Likewise, the Minister of Defense, Luis Petri, referred to the case and stated that “He should be imprisoned now like other violent people with preventive detention.”

Other members of La Libertad Avanza, Milei’s party, shared the photos on social media and suggested that Fernández go to prison.
