The figure of Satika Simamora is considered the right successor to continue her husband’s hard work in developing North Tapanuli Regency for the next five years.
“After you are no longer in office, I am worried that Taput will experience decline. Therefore, we, the Satika-Sarlandy success team, are ready to work hard to win Mother Satika Simamora as a leader who will continue development in Taput,” said a Purbatua community figure in the campaign candidate pair number 1, Satika-Sarlandy, in Parsaoran Janji Angkola Village on Saturday (26/10).
The community figure asked the entire winning team and volunteers not to be afraid of facing intimidation in winning the Satika-Sarlandy pair. “If there is intimidation, report it to law enforcement officials. We hope that the volunteers can carry out their duties well. May God bless our journey until 27 November 2024. Satika-Sarlandy must win, and we are ready to welcome this change from father to mother,” he added .

During the campaign, the General Chair of the Satika-Sarlandy Winning Team, Nikson Nababan, was present along with North Sumatra DPRD Member Paltak Siburian, as well as community, traditional, religious and youth leaders.
Declaration of Support in Simangumban
Support for the Satika-Sarlandy couple is getting stronger with declarations from community and traditional leaders in Simangumban District. They expressed their readiness to be led by a woman to continue the development of North Tapanuli.
“We are ready to welcome female leaders to continue the leadership of Amang Nikson Nababan, for the better progress of Taput Regency,” said a Simangumban community leader. “Satika-Sarlandy must win so that Taput can develop and be competitive in North Sumatra, even in Indonesia.”

Commitment to Eradicating Drugs
In her political oration, Satika Simamora emphasized the importance of community cooperation to eradicate the increasingly massive drug trafficking in North Tapanuli.
“Taput will not progress if drugs are still circulating among the community and the younger generation. Therefore, we, the Satika-Sarlandy couple, are committed to eradicating drugs if we are trusted to lead Taput,” he stressed.
Satika, a PDIP politician, also conveyed the important role of young people in regional development. He is committed to involving the millennial generation in government to make Taput a competitive, characterful and just region.

“We really hope for the active participation of the younger generation to jointly develop work programs according to our vision. Likewise, attention to the elderly, which I will not forget if elected as regent,” said Satika.
Deputy Regent Candidate Sarlandy Hutabarat, who is also Deputy Regent of Taput for the 2019-2024 period, also emphasized his commitment to eradicating drugs and gambling in North Tapanuli. “Let’s reject drug trafficking and gambling in order to protect Purbatua’s young generation from negative influences,” he said.
Inauguration of the Winning Team
At the end of the event, Nikson Nababan inaugurated the TPS Management Team and Satika-Sarlandy Volunteers. In his message, he emphasized the importance of working honestly and responsibly to achieve victory.
