For its 25th edition, the International Adventure & Discovery Film Festival is back with its audience following two years marked by the health crisis.
It takes place from April 19 to 22 in Val d’Isère. In total, eleven films from the official selection will be presented in the presence of the directors.
We can in particular immerse ourselves in the magnificent landscapes of Namibia with The Long Walk by Pierre Stine or even shiver in front of the ballet of acrobats at the top of the Swiss Oberland with Out of the blue by Davina Beyloos Montaz-Rosset and Sébastien Montaz- Rosset.
The adventurer Sylvain Tesson will host the evenings. The jury, chaired this year by the physicist & philosopher of science Etienne Klein, will award the Prix de l’Aigle d’Or for the closing evening of the festival.
And for its special anniversary, the Festival offers a most memorable “off” program with exhibitions, events, encounters and original screenings, in a setting which, in turn, calls for adventure: the peaks of Val d’Isère .
The festival is free with reserved VIP seating options: €15 for 3 films or Passport 4 evenings: €50. Note: this year some films from the official selection will be available from home via Festival website.
