On March 15th and 16th, from 1pm to 5pm, the second edition of the 100% digital symposium will take place LATAM Telco Vision Forum. The event coordinated by the Latin media Telesemana and TelecomWebinar.com and supported by NEC brings to the center of the discussions the theme “The transforming power of the 5G network”.
The initiative, which has already entered the calendar of the main events in the telecom segment in Latin America, attracts the attention of professionals in the areas of telecommunications operators, data centers and companies, interested in checking out the content brought by industry leaders. For this edition, for example, the presence of the main executives of companies such as Rakuten, Cisco, Claro, Telefónica Hispam, Equinix, Cirion, Juniper, Infinera, FiBrasil, Accedian, among others, has already been confirmed.
Azita Arvani, general manager of Rakuten Mobile Americas and Rakuten Mobile, for example, will address lessons learned from Rakuten Mobile’s 5G Open RAN network deployment. Between the keynote speakers Also present in the program is Cisco’s main architect, Marc Culvernehouse, who will address the theme “Making a difference with Transport SDN: experiences with Cisco Crosswork Network implementations”. The panels, in turn, will bring together industry leaders to talk regarding cybersecurity solutions for a digital world and the challenges and opportunities of the arrival of the terabyte era in Latin America, in addition to other issues.
During the days there will also be the participation of analysts from Omdia and IDC, who will share with the public the main evolution trends in the context of 5G and OpenRAN networks, automation and prevention solutions, and security in data centers, in addition to discussing the influences of digital transformation in the current market, with the themes “The benefits and expectations of 5G in Latin America” (by Sonia Agnese, senior principal analyst at Omdia for Latin America) and “IT market and strategies digital cloud and security solutions for companies” (by Luciano Saboia, director of Telecommunications at IDC for Latin America).
Representing NEC in Latin America, the program will feature Yasushi Tanabe, CEO, Roberto Murakami, CTO, and Kusumoto Yuichi, Deputy General Manager of the Telecom BU. “The LATAM Telco Vision Forum makes it possible to follow, in a single virtual environment, the vision, experiences and ideas of global exponents of the telecommunications sector, with very important messages for Latin America”, emphasizes Murakami.
