Asunción, IP Agency.- This Thursday the official launch of the 24th Edition of Construtecnia, XXIV International Fair of Construction Equipment, Machinery and Materials was held, which will take place from May 22 to 26 in the Olympic Park. This year, around 800 national and international brands are expected to participate in the event.
The international fair for construction equipment, machinery and materials, Constructecnia, will also have a Housing Expo with the presence of the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat (MUVH), in addition to real estate developers, construction companies and financial entities.
During the launch event, the MUVH minister, Juan Carlos Baruja, highlighted that one of the great allies of the Paraguayan economy is the construction sector. “We are beginning to emerge from negative years and we want to contribute strongly so that the private sector can generate more jobs, which is another of the Government’s priorities,” he indicated.
He celebrated the private sector’s initiative to support and promote Paraguayan talent, which he said stands out for its commitment to work. “I am convinced that our country will move forward due to the drive, optimism and strength we have,” he added.
The Government supports those who want to work, we are with you and we are going to continue creating the conditions for innovation and work to triumph over the negative that may occur, he added.
According to the organizers, this year’s edition will see the participation of more than 100 companies and 800 brands, both national and international. It is worth mentioning that Constructecnia is for the benefit of the Dequení Foundation.
