The maximum prices of gasoline at the pump will be lower from Wednesday, announces the FPS Economy.
In detail, the maximum prices of 95 RON E5 petrol and 95 RON E10 petrol will be respectively 1.8140 euro per liter (- 0.006 euro) and 1.7310 euro per liter (- 0.013 euro). This fall in prices leads to the application of the ratchet system. “This system involves an increase in the rate of the special excise duty on gasoline following a reduction in the maximum price of this product. Following the application of today’s ratchet system (Tuesday, editor’s note), the rate of special excise duty on gasoline will increase by 10.75 euros/1,000 liters from tomorrow (Wednesday, editor’s note) . The total rate of excise duty will amount to 499.3305 euros/1000 liters“, specifies the administration.
In addition, the maximum prices for diesel fuel (heating application) are also down from Wednesday: at 1.2137 euro per liter (- 0.0188 euro) for less than 2,000 liters and at 1.1818 euro per liter (- 0.0188 euro) from 2,000 litres.
