New developments in the case of Amber Heard and her ex-husband Johnny Depp

The case of actress Amber Heard and her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, witnessed new developments, as users of social networking sites accused American actress Amber Heard of copying her testimony against Johnny Depp from Hollywood films.

According to the Hindustan Times, Heard quoted parts of her testimony in the libel case brought by Donny Depp, from the American film The Talented Mr Ripley.

Johnny Depp is currently suing his ex-wife, Amber Heard, for $50 million in damages for defaming him following their split and falsely accusing him of physical assault.

For its part, Heard has filed a $100 million counter-suit against Depp, which will be filed after the ruling of the current trial is announced.

Last Friday, May 6, Heard made her statement for the first time at the trial, and spoke about the details of Deeb’s assault on her physically and morally, but the public had another opinion about the details of the testimony.

Followers saw that Heard was acting and performing for the court similar to her roles in films.

Followers said that some parts of Heard’s testimony were extracted from the movie “The Gifted Mr. Ripley,” where a Twitter user compared the text of the testimony to one of the scenes in the movie.

The site scrutinized the fan’s claim, only to discover that Heard did not explicitly quote her testimony, as the user said, but that there was only a similarity to the scene.

In the testimony, Heard said, “When I was with Johnny, I felt like I was the most beautiful person in the world, and then he would disappear.”

The trial is being held in city court in Virginia, but the judge recently announced that no hearings will take place this week.

Judge Benny Azkait explained that no hearings were held because she was busy in a conference to be run from Monday 9 to Thursday 12 May.

The trial is expected to complete on Monday, May 16, with testimony from Amber Heard, and finish on May 19.
