New destinations from Toulon-Hyères airport planned for this summer

If you are superstitious or aerophobic, do not look too closely at the map of destinations served directly from Toulon-Hyères airport when boarding.

You will discover there that they are indeed 13 in number on the 2022 version, presented yesterday by Vinci airports.

A vintage that makes the airport manager and local tourism promoters smile, happy to see the number of connections take off.

It is indeed four new lines which will open at the end of June or the beginning of July.

Heading to England

Biggest blow of the year, the Easyjet line which, from June 29 to October 29, will be able to bring to our shores some 800 additional Britons per week (at the rate of two rotations on Wednesdays and Saturdays) from and to of London Gatwick.

“A mark of trust from the company” according to Chivoine Rem, the airport manager. Easyjet and its planes low cost are already used to the Palyvestre with its rotations with Orly, Roissy.

She had also already opened a bridge with London last summer.

This will not be the only way to reach Queen Elisabeth Island. From July 24 to September 18, the more discreet British company Flybe will offer a round trip per week to Southampton (76 passengers per rotation).

On the mainland now, Vinci airports is announcing the creation of a service to Geneva (4 flights per week, from 1is July to October 2), by the company L’odyssey. An offer described as “premium”… as opposed to the low cost.

Finally, Air Corsica enriches its rotations with the island and beauty and adds to the flights to Bastia and Ajaccio, a plane for Figari every Wednesday from July 6 to August 31.

In addition to the four new destinations, direct flights depart from Hyères to Paris Orly, Roissy, Nantes, Brest, Rotterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg, Ajaccio, and Bastia.
