New course on Photojournalism in Education Profile

Perfil Educación presents a cycle of Master Classes by journalists specialized in different journalistic fields: Radio, Photojournalism, Police Journalism, Institutional Communication and Sports Journalism. The seminar consists of 4 classesone per week and the course will be synchronous, livevia Streaming, through the zoom platform, which allows students to ask questions in the development of classes. It starts on Monday, October 2 at 7:00 p.m. and registration is open.

in this seminar Photojournalism: techniques and principles of documentary photography Those registered will learn the basics of photography applied to journalism, they will learn to distinguish the different genres of photojournalism, they will approach the concepts of documentary filmmaking, journalism, visual communication, analyze the visual discourse of the media, they will reflect on an ever-changing profession.

The teacher who will promote this course is Pablo Cuarterolo, Photographer specialized in journalistic and documentary photography. In 2001 he got a scholarship to carry out a Photojournalism Workshop in Miami with prestigious photographers from the United States and Europe organized by the University of Miami and the Inter-American Press Association. he worked in Argentine News Agency, Popular Newspaper, La Primera, BAE Newspaperin the France Press Agency in Washington, among other national and international media. He got the 1st prize in the category Photographywithin the framework of the 33rd edition of the annual contest “ADEPA Journalism Awards”. He has been part of the staff of photographers for Diario Perfil since 2005.

Aimed at students The photojournalism course is aimed at an audience with basic knowledge of photography, but also for professionals interested in expanding or updating their knowledge in this photographic style. Likewise, it is recommended for those photography professionals who want to improve the result of their photographs, using one of the styles with the most followers today. Editorial Perfil will deliver certificates to students who take the course.
