This time she is dealing with a case that goes back sixty years. A mummified corpse of a baby is found during renovations at the widow’s house at Waterford Manor, and Bee sets out to find out more regarding the baby’s identity and cause of death. The find triggers strange events in the village. Stuffed animals and poems stored in gardens are just the beginning.
Who might have anything to do with this? The rather whimsical owner of the esoteric shop? Or one of the former servants of the manor? The new pastor also seems to be hiding something. Bee finds that old secrets are not forgotten and asking too many questions regarding the past can be dangerous.
Terror of Death Behind Garden Hedges is available as an e-book in bookstores everywhere. The author still has to console readers who would rather read a paperback than an e-book. “It would also be my greatest wish to see the last two parts of my Cornwall crime novels in print, but that depends on sales figures. I very much hope that this will be the case soon.”
