New Controversy Erupts as Disturbing Allegations Against Abercrombie & Fitch’s Mike Jeffries Come to Light

The allegations include incidents of rape and drug-injection, which allegedly occurred at lavish events hosted by the defendants. These events took place from 2009 to 2015, when Jeffries was head of Abercrombie & Fitch.

Luke (pseudonym), one of the men who spoke about his experiences, tells how in 2011 he was invited to a hotel in Madrid with the promise of taking part in an advertising campaign for the company. But when he arrived, he found that the surroundings had nothing to do with what had been described to him. The atmosphere was strongly erotic, with pictures of men on the walls, and staff dressed in the signature Abercrombie & Fitch uniforms. He testified that Jeffries and Smith approached and sexually assaulted him, despite his repeated denials.

The complaints, as reported by the BBC, against Jeffries and Smith led to the investigation of the case by the FBI, while to date 20 men have testified about their experiences at the events in question. These men were recruited by middlemen, such as James Jacobson, who was allegedly responsible for searching for “models” in international forums.

Another witness, Chris (also a pseudonym), testified that during an event in New York, Jeffries’ assistants injected him with liquid Viagra, causing him to experience dangerous symptoms such as dizziness and fever. Despite his condition, Jeffries and Smith attempted to sexually exploit him, without anyone calling for medical help.

One of the former victims, ex-model Keith Milkie, described the events as “physically and psychologically painful”, adding that he often had to submit to sexual acts he did not want. On one occasion, during a cruise on the Queen Mary 2, Jeffries forced him to participate in a dangerous sexual act, despite his refusals.

Abercrombie & Fitch, which is accused of funding these sex acts, has said it had no knowledge of Jeffries’ actions. However, he is required to cover the former CEO’s legal fees as the charges relate to his role at the company.
