Starting next week (from October 7th) there will be new road closures in the district. Those affected include commuters between Ahlen and Beckum.
Closure on the eastern bypass in Ahlen until shortly before Christmas
Due to connection work for the so-called east tangent, the Alte Beckumer Straße in the confluence area “Im Schliek” completely closed until probably shortly before Christmas. According to the city of Ahlen, a detour is widely signposted via Beckumer Straße.
Dreibrückenstrasse in Warendorf is closed for two weeks
In Warendorf the Dreibrückenstrasse blocked for two weeks. The section between Querstrasse and Schückingstrasse is affected. The road surface is being resurfaced there after canal construction work was carried out there in recent years.
