A new era begins in the Mexican Soccer Federation

The final stage with 12 teams delivered four tickets to qualify directly for the quarterfinals and gave away four playoff matches. The measure was imposed following the losses that the teams had due to the Coronavirus pandemic and served to fulfill pending commitments to sponsors and television stations.
