We found in particular in this list the Dacia Logan, the Renault Twingo, the Citroën C1 or the Fiat Panda. Since then, water has flowed under the bridges. The health crisis followed by a shortage of semiconductors, itself ahead of the energy crisis, have contributed to driving up production costs. So many events which, added to the disappearance of certain models (Dacia Logan, Citroën C1…) and the electrification of others such as the Twingo, mean that there is now only one car – except for cars without a license – on the market, the price of which remains below the symbolic bar of €10,000. An exception that goes to Dacia and its Sandero, sold today – but for how much longer? – at only €9,990 in its most basic version. The vehicle of the low-cost brand of the Renault group has however also suffered from the crisis, its price having risen by 600 euros since October, and even by 1,000 euros since August 2021.
