New cars in spring 2023: Saipa, Evolute i-Sky, Omoda S5, Jetour, FAW Bestune B70 – March 30, 2023

As for the Omoda S5, its length is 4644 mm, it is offered with a single power unit: a 1.6-liter 113-horsepower gasoline engine paired with a CVT. The car is already being imported into Russia as a parallel import, and the price is regarding 1.7 million rubles. Probably the same will cost the average version of the S5. In any case, the model looks promising, because today it is impossible to buy even a Chinese car from an official dealer for less than 1.9 million rubles (not counting discounts).

Chery believes in the cognitive abilities of Russians who can not get confused in its many sub-brands. It sells cars under its own brand, under the semi-premium Exeed and Omoda, to which Jetour will be added this spring. Moreover, a separate dealer network is being created for it. The first two models are built on the basis of Chery crossovers, and the question arises: what is the difference with existing models? It’s hard to say yet, but judging by the design of Dashing, it will attract a more daring audience than, for example, Exeed.
