A new duel is emerging between Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump, which does not delight cinema legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, who believes that it is time to have new blood in the White House.

“For me, it’s really strange to see a battle between a septuagenarian and an octogenarian, instead of witnessing a duel between candidates aged 40 to 50,” he revealed in an interview with the BBC.
The actor of Terminator, aged 76, admitted that he would have liked to run for the White House if he had had the opportunity.
“I feel like I would have been a good president,” he said, adding that everything he “accomplished was made possible because of America.”
“America has given me so many opportunities, and Americans are so welcoming. They received me with open arms. No one stopped me from being successful,” he said.
The former bodybuilding champion cannot run for president because he was not born in the United States.
Anti-Trump Republican
The former Republican governor of California has often shown his opposition to Donald Trump in the past by claiming in 2021 that he was “the worst president in history”.
The latter even admitted on CNN that he did not think that Donald Trump would win the presidency in 2024.
“I don’t believe you can be re-elected when the polls indicate that 30 or 33% of people would vote for you,” he argued on the show Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace.
“We have to bring everyone together! It takes everyone to win an election, Schwarzenegger commented. People need to be willing to cross the finish line with you. Do I think he can do it? Honestly, no.”
