Elon University is fostering a collaborative habitat for artificial intelligence research wiht a new series of events showcasing the work of eight faculty members across diverse disciplines.The series, organized by Mustafa Akben, ElonS director of AI integration, and Sagun giri, a member of Elon’s AI Task Force and instructional technologist, aims to bring together researchers from various fields to explore the latest advancements in AI, share their insights, and build connections for future collaborations.
“This initiative is more than just a series of presentations – it’s the foundation for an interdisciplinary AI research network,” Akben stated. “By bringing together researchers from different fields, we hope to strengthen our connections and support each other’s work.”
Each session will feature a 45-minute research presentation followed by a one-hour networking possibility, creating a space for engaging discussions and potential partnerships. The series is open to all faculty,staff,students,and interested community members.
