Available new jobs increased by 1,000 positions in the employment program of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, reaching a total of 2,000.

The purpose of the action is to create full-time jobs for the recruitment of the unemployed in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. The grant covers up to 70% of salary and contributions for 12 months, extendable for another 12.

It is noted that the program is aimed at private companies operating in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

The application from the interested companies is submitted to the Unified Digital Portal of the Public Administration (gov.gr) (

After submitting the application, DYPA confirms that the business meets the conditions and the Service’s labor advisers indicate candidates with the specialty and required qualifications stated by the employer. The employer selects the beneficiary and proceeds with the recruitment.

The total budget of the program after the increase in positions amounts to 28.6 million euros and will be covered by DYPA resources.
