The story was widely discussed following a fan named Luke Vesely uploaded a short video on social media. He admitted that he met with Flea and Anthony Kiedis ahead of the RHCP concert in Seattle.

Luke also replied by saying that he and his friends were really just chatting with him and no one asked for a photo together or an autograph so Flea and Kiedis might feel comfortable with them.
Suddenly the upload was replied by Flea through his account. He praises Luke and his friends who are not like most fans.
“That’s because you are really sincere and don’t ask for a photo together. We always want to stop and chat (with fans) but asking for a photo together will destroy everything instantly,” replied Flea.
Flea’s answer was once more questioned by netizens. They feel there is nothing strange regarding the request for a photo with the idol. He also replied that there was nothing wrong with that but asking for photos was like a transaction process and it destroyed the intimacy of the conversation between them.
Even though it has been explained that there are still netizens who argue and argue that a photo with an idol is something that is so valuable and important.
