Never opened: A $50,000 first-generation iPhone

A New York tattoo artist is hoping to snag US$50,000 (regarding CA$66,500) at auction for her first-generation iPhone that was never removed from its packaging.

For the 15th anniversary of the iPhone, New Yorker Karen Green has auctioned off her first-generation 8GB device that she received as a gift in 2007, still sealed in its original packaging, reported CNN Business.
