“Never a Euro from the Ministry for Boccia” –

Ninety minutes at Palazzo Chigi where Gennaro Sangiuliano met with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The Minister of Culture – who has been at the center of political debate for days over the ‘case’ of alleged consultant Maria Rosaria Boccia – had entered and exited by car from the rear entrance of the government headquarters without making any statements to reporters. Journalists, television operators and photographers, having heard the news of Sangiuliano’s arrival at Palazzo Chigi, had crowded in front of the main entrance and then abandoned their ‘position’ due to a heavy storm.

Sangiuliano didn't spend money on Boccia. Meloni all over the field

Shortly after, however, a note from Sangiuliano arrived, published on the Ministry of Culture website: “I spoke with the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, to reiterate the truth of my statements contained in the letter sent this morning to the newspaper ‘La Stampa’: never a single euro from the ministry, not even for a coffee, was used for travel and accommodations of Dr. Maria Rosaria Boccia who, with respect to the organization of the G7 Culture, never had access to confidential documents”.
