Nevenka is moved when talking about the good men who helped her after denouncing Ismael Álvarez: “I would not have been able to survive”

After winning the trial after denouncing the mayor of Ponferrada, Ismael Álvarez, Nevenka gave a press conference stating that she had felt “totally abandoned by the PP”, their party, while Ismael Álvarez had received support. The young woman came to reflect on whether the women of the PP thought the man’s behavior was good, how they should “treat them.”

However, Ana Pastor remembers that it is fair to recognize that a few good men also supported the then PP councilor in Ponferrada. “That message is very important, I wouldn’t be here today,” says Nevenka, who is moved when remembering the help she received more than 20 years ago. “I would not have been able to survive without the help of very few, but important people who were holding me from minute 0 to prevent me from falling,” insists Nevenka.

“Those people are brave, more than me,” says Nevenka, who reflects: “I had no other choice but to do what I did because I was fighting for my life.” “I did not make a conscious exercise of courage, however, those people did because they could have chosen,” recalls the woman, who confesses that, currently, those same people have told her that “they received calls that something bad could happen to them in their life and his work”.

In the main video of this news, Nevenka remembers all those good men who helped her, from her lawyer to her husband.
