Discover Neutrik’s line of A-Series chassis connectors
Neutrik Americas, part of the Neutrik Group – the world’s leading provider of professional AVL connectivity solutions – announces the new etherCON ESD Series chassis connectors. The releases come to market to improve the performance of the brand’s popular etherCON A-Series line, including composite, asymmetrical and non-metallic pressure tabs.
Featuring ESD protection, composite pressure tabs shield connectors from damage to sensitive electronic components caused by unwanted energy that may enter the connector through the latch, whether from a finger touch or other transmission. Additionally, the asymmetrical design saves space for labeling purposes.

Another notable detail is that the pressure tab is not reflective, due to the black composite material. This not only prevents bright reflections on the stage, but also perfectly matches the flange and housing for a unique, clean appearance.
The line has 10 connectors
Neutrik’s new etherCON ESD Series line features 10 connectors, each configured for a variety of termination and usage applications, including horizontal and vertical PCB mount versions; perforated, shielded, and halo light ring versions; and versions that include integrated magnetism. All connectors fit into the brand’s standard A-size chassis cutouts.
“These releases offer a new approach to A Series connectors, which have been an industry standard for many years. The latches look great and provide extra protection for the electronics. Its non-reflectivity is an advantage for stage applications where visual distraction must be minimized”, points out Fred Morgenstern, vice president of technology at Neutrik Americas. “Additionally, they are the same price as the standard A-Series chassis connectors and offer a great set of new alternatives for product designers,” he concludes.
All Neutrik etherCON A-Series products with metal flap remain commercially available.
