NetJets has officially commenced construction on a dedicated private lounge and terminal for its esteemed customers in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, marking a significant step forward in enhancing luxury travel experiences.
The groundbreaking event signifies a crucial milestone in NetJets’ extensive investment strategy aimed at elevating ground services, reinforcing its position as the world’s largest private jet flight provider.
In a strategic collaboration, the Las Vegas expansion is joined by Signature Aviation, the operator of the world’s largest fixed-base operator (FBO) network, ensuring top-notch service and infrastructure.
The ambitious campus at Harry Reid International Airport is set to feature a meticulously custom-designed terminal for exclusive use, along with a comprehensive service hub and two spacious hangars.
In a remarkable turn of events, last year, Harry Reid International Airport ascended from the 7th to the 4th position, establishing itself as one of the busiest private jet airports in the United States.
The highly anticipated new facility is expected to open its doors to customers in the year 2027, promising a new standard in private aviation amenities.
The project, as outlined in the announcement, is projected to generate hundreds of construction jobs, as well as dozens of full-time operational positions, thus spurring significant economic growth in the surrounding area.
“NetJets has eagerly anticipated breaking ground on the extraordinary Las Vegas facility we are building with our valued partner Signature Aviation. This new campus will amplify the industry-leading service and aircraft access our Owners expect and deserve while simultaneously creating job opportunities for residents in the region,” expressed NetJets President Patrick Gallagher.
Signature Aviation CEO Tony Lefebvre remarked, “This milestone is a testament to the longstanding partnership between our organizations and a shared mission to provide safe, seamless, and exceptional experiences to our guests in every moment.”
Once completed, the terminal will boast a spacious lobby, a luxurious lounge area, dedicated parking spaces, and convenient vehicular ramp access to streamline the travel experience.
The service hub is designed to offer comprehensive parts and maintenance support specifically tailored for the NetJets fleet, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
In an impressive display of growth, the company recently announced it had welcomed the delivery of its 50th new aircraft in 2024, highlighting its ongoing commitment to expanding its fleet.
Additionally, its aircraft management segment and the charter arm, Executive Jet Management, will occupy the second hangar, further enhancing operational capabilities.
