Netflix’s new subscription with ads is coming in November

Netflix announces the launch of a new cheaper subscription, but with advertisements. Here’s everything you need to know regarding this Netflix subscription.

It’s not great news. Netflix had long thought of launching a new subscription with advertisements. From now on, it’s official. The streaming platform announces the launch of a cheaper subscription but with advertisements, l’Essential with ad.

The latter will be launched in November in 12 countries around the world, including France. From November 3 at 5 p.m., this new subscription will be available for purchase. The latter will therefore cost € 5.99 per month. However, as Netflix had already announced, this subscription will include ads. They will therefore be distributed in two different ways. Either « pre-roll », so before the program, and will last between 15 and 30 seconds. Either in the middle of the program, always lasting 15 to 30 seconds. Netflix therefore announces “an average of 4 to 5 minutes of per hour”. Note, however, that the “youth” profiles will not have advertisements. Additionally, for some Netflix Original movies and series, will only air before the program launches.

In addition, Netflix announces that this new subscription, like the current Essential subscription, will offer a stream in 720 p. Except that this new subscription will only contain 85% of the Netflix catalog, and will not allow downloads. So, are you interested in this offer with advertisements?
