Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Series S with the theme of Netflix’s most popular ‘Stranger Things’.
It was produced as a gift, not for sale, in line with the recently released ‘Stranger Things’ season 4. It will be communicated to the winners of the event held at a later date.
The design concept for this custom Xbox Series S is a 1980’s cassette player left in Upside Down, a parallel world from another dimension in Stranger Things.
Bizarre creeping plants inhabiting the upside down surround the entire console, giving it a strange and gloomy feeling unique to Bizarre Story.
A bizarre story set in the 1980s, the popular culture codes that dominated the times permeate every corner of the drama. In particular, arcade games and classic video games that were popular at the time appear in the drama, stimulating nostalgia for the 80s.
Video games serve as a link between the generation who grew up in the 80s and today’s young generation, who enjoy the pleasure of games and find satisfaction and expression. Microsoft designed this collaboration to celebrate the new season of Stranger Things and create an opportunity to enjoy it even more.
Events where you can receive the Xbox Series S and controller with the theme of ‘Stranger Things’ will be announced through the Xbox official SNS channel.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1, released on May 27, can also be viewed on the Xbox console.
