WWE was looking for a new TV broadcaster for RAW as the contract with USA Network was coming to an end.
There were many rumors regarding the next broadcaster like the Warner group or Netflix or even Amazon Prime, but today it is officially Netflix which won the auction.
Indeed, from January 2025 WWE RAW will leave traditional cable for the very first time in history and land on the streaming platform international. RAW will thus be broadcast on Netflix live and on VOD. The broadcast day remains to be validated, but we can imagine that the program might easily remain on Monday since Netflix is not constrained by time slots.
WWE RAW on Netflix will be available in United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Latin America and other countries which will be communicated soon. In addition, Netflix will broadcast other shows. Indeed, for countries outside the United States, Netflix will also be the broadcaster of SmackDown, NXT, and Premium Live Events such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, the Royal Rumble and others. WWE documentaries and other series will also be on Netflix. All this will start in 2025.
An important page of history which is turning on the side of the WWE and this contract will last for 10 years for a total of more than 5 billion US dollars.
We will have to wait to know which other countries will have access to RAW and other shows on Netflix. You will have to remain patient to know if WWE RAW and PLE will arrive on Netflix in France or not.
