The global entertainment platform, Netflix, announced that it has updated the prices of its packages in Egypt, to enable the audience to follow their favorite programs and movies, at lower prices than those they were operating with a few days ago.

The package prices in Egypt are as follows:

• The basic package is 70 pounds

• The standard package is 120 pounds

• Premium package 165 pounds

This is following it was previously as follows: “The basic package is 120 pounds, the standard package is 165 pounds, and the premium package is 200 pounds.”

New subscribers were able to view the new price for each package starting from February 21, while the updated prices will apply to existing members during the next billing cycle. The timing of the application will depend on each member’s billing cycle date.

It is worth noting that the Netflix platform made its decision to reduce subscription prices in a number of Arab countries, and the matter was not limited to Egypt only, and among the countries in which the price list changed: Morocco, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, and Tunisia.

In the coming months, Netflix will abound in its television and cinematic library with distinguished works, including: The Governorate of Masameer-2, and “Al-Khattaba,” in addition to recently launched programs such as: Glass Onion: Take Out the Knives, Wednesday, Matilda, the musical by Roald Dahl, and Emily in Paris. Pinocchio, The Witcher, Deal, Blender.
