Netflix is ​​preparing a series on U2 with JJ Abrams in production

TV SERIES – The iconic group U2 will have the right to his own series on Netflixaccording to The Hollywood Reporter this Friday, March 18.

The project, still untitled, is just beginning to be developed so few details are available. According to the specialized media, however, it is already certain that J.J. Abrams (Alias, Lost, Star Trek, Star Wars…) and its Bad Robot Studios will handle production.

The scenario should be entrusted to Anthony McCarten. The screenwriter, who won an Oscar nomination, will not be his first biopic. We actually owe him the script of Bohemian Rhapsody, The Dark Hours and A wonderful story of time.

For the time being, U2’s participation in the project is not official, but The Hollywood Reporter reports that the musicians should however be involved in some way and will validate the project.
