Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised and expressed appreciation to United States (US) President Joe Biden, who has provided support during the Gaza war.

“I plan to meet President Biden, whom I have known for more than forty years,” Netanyahu said before boarding the Wing of Zion for the first time on his flight to Washington.

“This will be an opportunity to thank him for what he has done for Israel in war and during his long and distinguished career in public service, as a senator, vice president and president,” he said.

Netanyahu also stressed the importance of the two countries presenting a united front.

“It will also be an opportunity to discuss with him how to achieve the goals that are important to both countries in the critical months ahead, achieving the release of all our hostages, defeating Hamas, confronting the Iranian axis of terror, and ensuring that all Israeli citizens can return safely to their homes in the north and south,” Netanyahu said.

“In this time of war and uncertainty, it is important for Israel’s enemies to know that America and Israel stand together, today, tomorrow and forever,” he concluded. (Z-8)
