Netanyahu sticks to judicial reform – Israel

Tel Aviv – The conflict over the Israeli right-wing government’s controversial judicial reform came to a head on Thursday. Despite ongoing mass protests, a law was passed on Thursday that will make it much more difficult to declare a prime minister incapacitated. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been the subject of a corruption trial for a long time, will primarily benefit from this first change in the law.
