Netanyahu: Iran made a big mistake and will pay the price for it

Israel – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said late Tuesday evening that Iran has made a big mistake and will pay the price for it.

In his first comment on the Iranian attack, Netanyahu added, “The Iranian regime does not understand our insistence on defending ourselves and responding to our enemies.”

The Israeli Prime Minister continued, saying, “Whoever attacks us, we will attack him.”

In his video statement, Netanyahu claimed that the Iranian missile attack on Israel had failed.

For his part, Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasir Zadeh stressed that Israel will receive a more severe blow if it responds to the recent Iranian missile attack.

The Minister of Defense stated that “the Revolutionary Guard operation is legitimate and in accordance with international laws,” adding, “We did not use our most advanced missile capabilities with the greatest destructive power in Operation Al-Waad Al-Sadiq 2.”

He continued, “If the region is exposed to escalation and war, we will deal more severely in the coming waves.”

On Tuesday, the Revolutionary Guard announced the launch of dozens of missiles towards Israel and warned that Israel’s response would be met with a “more crushing and destructive” response from Tehran.

The Revolutionary Guard reported that the missile attack targeted 3 Israeli military bases, in air strikes on the southern suburb of Beirut.

A senior Iranian official said the missile launches came on the orders of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who has remained in a safe place since the Israeli air strikes on Beirut that killed Nasrallah last week.

Israeli officials have vowed a severe response to the missile attack carried out by Iran on Tuesday on Israel, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s security deliberations continue.

The Israeli army confirmed that the Iranian attack “will have consequences” and that the military level in Israel has plans.
