The cabinets are concealed behind a modern narrow slat panel.
The clever use of the front and rear openings promotes sufficient lighting and ventilation. A flat green roof, coupled with adequate insulation, ensures temperature regulation. Energy-efficient glass panels further reinforce the residence’s sustainable credentials.
Exploring the interior of the dwelling unveils hidden spaces, framing captivating views from two perspectives: a visual escape to the sea when descending and an upward view to the sky when ascending .
These sunken zones are the “negative” spaces resulting from the meticulous extraction of the rock. To recreate the rugged essence of a natural cavity, the architects carefully selected materials and a color palette of stone, exposed concrete, wood and metal, lending a rustic charm to the internal shells.
The house extends over three levels, being able to accommodate bedrooms, living rooms and a guest house.
The first two levels are interconnected, favoring fluid transitions, while the guest house enjoys its independence. An integrated staircase connects the three levels to the exterior and leads to the main entrance located in the mezzanine of the living room.
