In the future, Monika Payreder will coordinate media and press work in the Parliamentary Club
Vienna (OTS) – NEOS are reorganizing their media team with a view to the coming election year. Julian Steiner is now taking over as spokesman for communications for NEOS chairwoman and club chairwoman Beate Meinl-Reisinger. Your previous press spokesman Leonhard Steinmann is moving back to the private sector.
Steiner is considered an experienced communications professional; he has been communicating for NEOS in various functions since 2017. The former radio journalist accompanied several national and regional election campaigns of the pink citizen movement and received the title “Political Spokesman of the Year” in 2021. Most recently, he served, among other things, as spokesman for the Parliamentary Club.
This role will be taken over by Monika Payreder in the future, who will coordinate the media and press work of the club and the other members of parliament. Payreder gained experience as an editor and head of service at Kurier, News and Servus TV, among other things. She has been in the NEOS communications team since 2019.
