NEOS election campaign kick-off: resolute action for Salzburg | NEOS

Meinl-Reisinger/Klambauer: “Only with NEOS is there a progressive, pro-European future for Salzburg. An opportunity that continues to implement and not just talk.”

Vienna (OTS) NEOS-Salzburg officially start the election campaign today. Party leader Beate Meinl-Reisinger warns of the next “Kickl-Leitner coalition” at the start of the election campaign: “The ÖVP has shown once once more that it is purely regarding maintaining power. In doing so, she loses sight of people’s real concerns – and increasingly gambles away the trust of the population. Inflation remains at record levels, the middle class is under enormous pressure and working people are having less and less of their hard-earned money. Populism, a shift to the right and anti-politics are on the rise. Only with NEOS is there a progressive, pro-European future for Salzburg. An opportunity that continues to implement and not just talk.”

“Where NEOS rule, something goes further”

With the 54 government projects that have already been successfully implemented, NEOS show that they are a force in the Salzburg government that drives politics forward. “Andrea Klambauer is a doer and doer, she has proven that once more and once more. Where NEOS govern, something goes further,” emphasizes the NEOS boss. “From the free kindergarten to rent control in subsidized housing. That benefits the people of Salzburg – in contrast to right-wing agitation and standstill. Only with NEOS does the government remain in charge.”

“Salzburg needs the best doers in government”

“I don’t want to and won’t allow politics of the past in Salzburg,” says provincial councilor and top candidate Andrea Klambauer. “Salzburg needs the best doers in government, a coalition of progress. We NEOS live a serious understanding of politics: Real change for a noticeably better life that the people of Salzburg can rely on.”

On April 23 “Choose to do the right thing”

In the last five years, NEOS have managed to break up a rigid, non-transparent and stubborn old party system, according to Klambauer: “Hard-fought successes show that equal opportunities can be created. However, our future can only succeed if the people of Salzburg decide to do the right thing once more on April 23! So that we can further expand free and high-quality childcare, relieve entrepreneurs and ambitiously expand affordable and livable living space.”
