The Lebanese singer Nelly Makdessi refused to be compared to the Lebanese singer Elissa.
During her stay as a guest on the “Al-Arafa” program with the Egyptian media, Basma Wahba, and in response to a question regarding comparing her to Elissa, she said: “Elissa appeared several years before me, why would you compare me?”
Wahba responded to her by saying: “I think your voice deserves, this is a nice technical comparison, by the way. You have 59 thousand subscribers on YouTube, and Elissa has 4 million.”
To return, Makdissi replied, “I did not want to talk regarding the comparison, but there are many people who buy Fullers, but I do not buy, I do art and I like to present sweet art in my own way.”
And she added, “All my accounts on the social media are new, and therefore I am real and present something real. I do not measure my stardom with follors. I am happy with everything I have provided and satisfied with it, and I look forward to achieving the best.”
Regarding her previous statement, in which she described Elissa as “arrogant”, Makdissi said that she made this statement at the time because of the position she collected with Elissa at the airport and did not greet her, but rather made her business manager stand in her face all the time so that she would not greet her.
