This was undoubtedly one of the major announcements of the last few days for Xbox, Death Stranding arrive dans le PC Game Pass very soon. Many of you have wondered regarding the subject, but Sony confirms that it has nothing to do with it.
Sony has nothing to do with history
Seeing the arrival of a major PlyaStation exclusive in Microsoft’s Game Pass PC surprised many. And of course, Sony is not involved in the deal between Hideo Kojima’s game and Xbox, as confirmed by one of its representatives at the microphone of Pushsquare.
Death Stranding PC release issues are handled by Kojima Productions and 505 Games. Sony Interactive Entertainment has no involvement in this promotion.
After a few days of teasing via to take a profile picture, Xbox had panicked the web and some did not really believe it as the game is associated with the PlayStation brand. But all this turned out to be correct and as we suspected, the game will only arrive in the Game Pass PC since it is published on this platform by 505 Games, and not by Sony.
It’s a safe bet that this is a hole in the racket of the initial contract with Sony since it is hard to imagine the latter approving such an exit in a competing service. No doubt Sony will remember this in the future and we are not ready to see such a surprise once more anytime soon.
