Neither Ronaldo nor Mbappe among them.. 4 players at the top of the scorers of “Euro 2024”

The top scorers in Euro 2024 with 3 goals are: German Jamal Musiala, Dutch Cody Gakpo, Slovak Ivan Schrantz, and Georgian Georgi Mikautadze. The first and second have the opportunity to increase the tally after their German and Dutch teams qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament.

While Mikautadze and Schrantz no longer have any chance to increase their scoring tally after they were eliminated from the tournament along with Georgia and Slovakia respectively in the round of 16.

While Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, the historical top scorer in the European Nations Cup, with 14 goals, continues his goal drought in the current edition of the tournament, and missed the opportunity to score in his sixth consecutive participation in the European Nations Cup finals, by wasting a penalty kick against the Slovenian national team on Monday evening, in the round of 16.

But the Portuguese star still has a chance to enhance his record as the top scorer (14) in the history of the European Nations Cup, the oldest, and the first player to score in 6 consecutive tournaments and 11 major tournaments (European Nations and World Cup) in history.

France’s Kylian Mbappe, who was among the candidates for the top scorer award at Euro 2024, has not yet performed to the level expected of him, having only scored one goal from a penalty kick against Poland. He also has a chance to increase his tally, especially since his French team has qualified for the quarter-finals, where it will face its Portuguese counterpart led by Ronaldo, and one of them will be eliminated from the tournament at this stage.
