This week the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saintslocated in May 25 and Lavalle made indiscriminate felling of the trees that were on the sidewalk. As reported by the municipality no permission was granted to carry out this action.
From the Misdemeanor Court they stated that on January 5 the church had presented a note at the entrance table of the court to request the permit that would allow them to extract nine trees. “This permission was not granted. Then, without the corresponding prior authorization, they felled the 12 trees.”they stated.

Therefore, a contravention act was drawn up according to ordinance 272/16 by which someone who extracts or prunes a tree without authorization can be violated. “In this case it was applied the fine according to the Falta code 382/19, for the extraction of 12 trees”, explained Cecilia San Pedro, in charge of the Fault Court.
From the municipality of Cipolletti, they expressed: “the tree as a living beingIt makes a vital and constant supply of oxygen for the development of life on earth. Planting trees, caring for and preserving existing ones mitigates the effects of climate change”.
In addition, they clarified that the extraction of trees from the sidewalk can only be requested if there is any inconvenience that it causes. The process begins at the entrance table of the city government, located at the corner of Yrigoyen and Villegasby means of a note made by the owner of the house.
